Ten People, Ten Dreams, One Year.

"All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible."  --Thomas Edward Lawrence

SpireSpire was built to chronicle the journeys of people who decided that they were going to focus their time and efforts to achieve one LARGE goal in one year's time.  The dream must be one that has the potential to change the trajectory of the dreamer--to go from a job they hate to one they love, to find new direction, to narrow focus onto what's really important; or it must bring the dreamer more fully into who they want to be.

The Goal can range from language learning to weight loss; success in an art or music field to a complete career change.  A SpireSpire participant might find themselves in another country by the end or on a different track then they imagined for themselves at the beginning.  They have to be creative around roadblocks, reject rejection, be able to fall down and dust themselves off, ready to jump up and try again.

The fun thing about SpireSpire is a "Spire Fire" (a single person with a goal) gets the benefit of joining the "Spire Choir"--a cohort of other people who are just as nervous, and just as hopeful as they are.  Each round's participants go in with the mindset that they are not only taking on a goal, but a group of people to encourage and celebrate with--as well as gaining accountability from the people that follow SpireSpire and cheer them along as well.

So read some stories, poke around, catch up...and maybe get inspired for Round Three!
